We can say finally the Senate Committee report has been tabled in the parliament with positive response from all parties. Looks like bipartisan support.

Next there will be a teleconference with Canberra to discuss the findings from the NRL report “Investigation of the Performance of Assays for Lyme Disease in Australia”. It is anticipated that this teleconference will be held within two weeks.

While this teleconference will provide an opportunity for questions to be raised about the Australian Government’s response to the inquiry, the department is also planning a forum in December 2017 to discuss in detail the recommendations in the response.
